WPT conducts market acceptance tests at selected major retailers and a large computer products distributor to measure the rate of sale of new products.

WPT, Inc. began business by testing products at BJ's Wholesale Club in June, 1994.

Other retailers for whom WPT conducts market acceptance tests include Staples, Albertsons, Rite Aid, and Circuit City.

Our sources for prospective tests are referrals from buyers and the merchandising management team at retailers with whom we have testing agreements. WPT charges its client companies a fee for this testing service, and shares this income with the retailer who provides logistical support and the space in which to conduct these tests.

WPT's long term goal is to establish our testing program as a world standard for measuring the potential of products whose merits are not immediately apparent to buyers in selected channels of distribution.
